A Beautiful Oxford Wedding | Ali & Hollie's Oxford Wedding Photography

There’s something incredibly special about photographing a wedding in Oxford. From the historic architecture and beautiful streets to those little in-between moments that make a wedding day completely unique, it’s a city that gives you so much to photograph.
Ali and Hollie’s wedding was exactly that.
From the excitement of getting ready through to the laughter, happy tears, celebrations and everything in between, their day was full of genuine moments, beautiful details and plenty of personality.
As a wedding photographer, these are the weddings I love most – the ones where couples can relax, enjoy their people and allow the day to unfold naturally.
Getting Ready
There’s anticipation, excitement and usually a little bit of chaos too! Not for Hollie however it was super chilled.
Rather than simply photographing the traditional details, I love capturing the atmosphere of the morning – the laughs with friends, the little glances, the final touches and all those moments that you might not notice while you're busy getting ready.
For Ali and Hollie, the morning set the tone for what was to come: relaxed, joyful and completely them.

For me, the most important photographs are the ones that bring you straight back to how your wedding actually felt.
The nervous excitement before the ceremony.
The moment you see each other for the first time.
Your best friend's ridiculous speech.
Your dad trying not to cry.
Your guests dancing like nobody is watching.
Those are the photographs that become more valuable as the years go by.

Photographing Ali & Hollie’s Couple Portraits
When couples tell me they feel awkward having their photograph taken, I completely understand.
You don't need to know how to pose.
You don't need to spend hours standing in front of the camera.
And you definitely don't need to become professional models for the day!
My approach to couple photographs is relaxed and natural. I'll give you a little direction when you need it, but the aim is always to create photographs that feel like you.
With Ali and Hollie, we were able to make the most of their Oxford surroundings while keeping things natural and fun.

Thinking About Getting Married in Oxford?
If you're planning an Oxford or Oxfordshire wedding, you're spoilt for choice when it comes to beautiful places to celebrate. From historic city venues and university buildings to countryside estates and riverside locations, there are so many possibilities.
And wherever you choose to get married, my advice is simple:
Choose a photographer whose photographs make you feel something.
Your wedding day will fly by.
You'll remember pieces of it – the people, the laughter, the nerves, the excitement – but your photographs will help you relive all those moments for years afterwards.
That's what I want to create for my couples.
Not just beautiful photographs, but a collection of memories that feels completely personal to you.
