Cotswolds Stone Barn Wedding

Huge congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Wathen!

In the lead up to the big day Amber created the most beautiful Cotswolds Wedding. Planning every detail despite 'soon to be hubby' needing to be away for work. What an incredible job she did too! James' speech reflected that and gave her the honour she deserved; I was particularly moved when he spoke to the joy, he has being a Father to the incredibly cute Freddie.

The day started with fun and laughter in Amber and James home with hair being curled and make up carefully and beautifully applied by Luci and Lucy.

Florist and Make-up artists need a special mention too the girls looked so good to be fair they even did in their PJ's which can't be said for myself!!

The first song was ‘Oh Happy Day’ brilliant choice to sign as soon as you arrive at the alter. It was a happy day indeed.

I had the lovley Millie with me for work experience, which was fun, she’s now come along for maternity, newborn, 2 events and now a wedding. Millie has a great eye and as a result Amber and James have a few extra photographs to treasure. I often take second shooter with me on weddings, and it can really add to your day capturing all the candid’s is far easier as a second photographer has stealth mode in down to a tee.

The venue: Stone barn is spectacular with fairy lights lighting up the ceiling, flag stone floors and gorgeous wood, not to mention the incredible food which was served hot from the open kitchen.

Florist and Make-up artists need a special mention too the girls looked so good to be fair they even did in their PJ's which can't be said for myself!!

People had travelled as far as Norway, Basingstoke, London, and Oxfordshire Amber and James are clearly very loved by all who were in attendance. The music had everyone going, even the bridesmaid and Father of the bride decided to rap at one point too. The fun atmosphere was infectious.
