To celebrate 50 years a golden wedding anniversary photo shoot at Cotswold wildlife park was in order.
Congratulations to this wonderful golden couple.
A momentous occasion to reach fifty years of marriage and to celebrate hosted family and friends at Cotswold wildlife park with a photoshoot to commemorate the occasion.
I did post on my Instagram stories that I hope all my couples will get me back to cover their golden wedding anniversaries. However, I shortly realised that could mean I’m 91. I wonder who the oldest wedding photographer is. I’m here for it! I’m relatively active so God knows what that will look like. Maybe there will be a Zimmer frame involved to double up as a tripod!
The Cotswold wildlife park https://www.cotswoldwildlifepark.co.uk/ is certainly a wonderful place to visit. Definitely, top of the list in terms of visit our lovely area. At a guess it was probably the busiest day this year so far. The sun was shining, and the animals were certainly enjoying the suns rays. I remember going to a zoo when my son was about 4 and there was as special reptile centre recently opened. He made us go around that place 4 times. It was so fascinating especially being so close to something so potentially dangerous. He absolutely loved every minute. We managed to go early enough (as my children never used to lie in especially at that young age) it meant we missed all the queues and by the fourth time the place was rammed. There are some perks to being early birds!
'Celebrating 50 Years: Golden Wedding Anniversary Photo Shoot at Cotswold Wildlife park'
Golden Wedding anniversary photo shoot at Cotswold wildlife park. Congratulations - fifty years!
This family was super lovely and really knew what they wanted for their family photo shoot at Cotswold wildlife park. On many occasions I work to a list to make sure no one gets missed off the photos. It works rally well if a family member helps me orchestrate this as I rarely know people before the photo shoot. One of the best bits of my job as a photographer is meeting new people. I think I’ve probably mentioned this before, and if you know me, you’ll know that making new friends is a hobby!
The Cotswold wildlife park has a train and a playground which means it’s not just walking to explore the grounds and animals. The giraffes are particularly magnificent which I didn’t get to see this time around. The Golden weddings anniversary photo shoot at the Cotswold wildlife park was in the orangery. I did however get to see the Rhinos which I have shared on my Instagram page. Go over and check the little baby rhino out!
My job as an Oxfordshire/Cotswolds based Photographer does take me further afield too and I’m all for exploring new places. Largely I’ve been in the bluebell forest this season. I couldn’t stand being stuck in a studio. If that’s your thing then, I totally get why, however, for my photoshoots families get to run and play and have the space to do so. If babies need a breastfeeding break, there is always time. The light and space from being outside makes everyone more relaxed.
With love
Katie
