Its fair to say the weather outside is frightful, yet as soon as it was time to grab the camera, it was almost delightful! This wonderful family travelled a little ways to come along to one of my favourite locations, especially at this time of year.
It was great to be able to do to a photo swap with fellow photographer Pietje amidst the autumnal leaves. We certainly dodged the snow, and on route to get there a tree had blown over. I did contemplate trying to lift said tree in a dress I mean, I do try to keep fit -surely I could manage it! The kids talked me out of that one, besides, there was another car trying to find way having no clue so she followed use which is a bit of a detour -she must've thought I was taking her on a wild goose chase! It was an eventful day to say the least!
Connection is the absolute most important thing in my style of photography, I simply love this above shot as even though Mum's face isn't in the picture (purposely) you can still feel the connection of love and adoration from daughter to Mother. I do really love my job!
